Visit Melbourn Zoo

Today I visited Melbourne Zoo, recorded some very interesting plants and animals and drew some sketches.

Here I visited Thai elephants and observed how elephants and their babies use their flexible trunks to feed and play. Elephants live together in groups except for the breeding young male elephant. It is said that they will move to another larger and more open werribee zoo in 2024.

There are a huge variety of monkeys here, and their environments vary greatly depending on how they live — baboons, for example, live in open hills where the foliage is not particularly high; The black handed Spun-monkey’s habitat is filled with rope for them to climb. In addition, it can be seen that the hierarchy among monkeys is very strict, and the treatment of lower monkeys is quite different.

Giraffes need to do the splits when drinking from the lower water.
